A few people have asked me how the composting is going (well, no, they haven’t really, but otherwise it just seems awkward to bring it up myself off my own bat). Anyhoo.
I managed to buy some sawdust, but it hasn’t made the big difference I hoped it would. I suspect that’s because it was wet. They were click and collect purchases, so I didn’t get to choose the bags myself. So, the composter is still oozing a thin, brown, smelly liquid.
On the other hand, my impromptu fruit fly breeding programme is coming along famously.
