My daughter who has been coping the best with the lockdown announced today she wants to get a buzzcut. This is not in lieu of a tattoo, but more of an interim measure. Only the impassioned pleas of her boyfriend have stopped her breaking out the razor today. Clearly the opinions of the wrinklies hold no weight in these matters. I’m hoping if I explain that everyone will assume she’s a racist skinhead, that that might put her off. Wish me luck.

She thinks it’s more likely people will assume she’s a lesbian, which doesn’t bother her at all. Anyway she’s promised to sleep on it.
