Rorschach

I’ve started having splatter dreams. Not the sort of splatter that I see in the PlayStation game my daughters play, that they insist is a cerebral, problem solving game but always involves a scary amount of head shots whenever I’m watching. No, the splatter I see is the paint splashes and drips of the jigsaw puzzle I’m doing.

I finally read the back of the box today. Jackson Pollock “painted” Convergence in 1952, and when it was made into a 340 piece jigsaw puzzle in 1964, it was touted as “the world’s most difficult puzzle”. Well the edition I got for Xmas has 1000 pieces. I’m guessing it was a joke gift, but I’m making good progress with all my spare time that I’m not assembling compost makers. I just hope I can get it finished before I lose my precarious grip on sanity.
