Subconscious

Coronavirus anxiety and the lockdown has seeped into the deepest parts of my brain. I’m currently reading a murder mystery as a little light relief, and the parts that stick out as really weird for me are things like people going out for dinner in restaurants together. No, I’m sorry, that just doesn’t seem realistic… Also, I’m not batting an eyelid when people are being battered to death with a baseball bat, or shot in the face, but when two of the characters hugged each other I was like “Ooh is that really a good idea?”
