Well, our miracle pond has delivered again, but it took my daughter’s fresh eyes to see it. New life has spontaneously arisen for the second time.
That last one was an action shot of him feeding that my daughter thought you might like, but I’m not convinced he’s particularly visible in it. The second picture was a size comparison with David Fanny Schwimmer.
We are currently thinking of names. Originally we were tossing around Corona or Covid, but actually Quarantini seems the most popular choice so far.
Little guy, welcome to your new home, and I hope the net will protect you from the same fate as your sibling, Lucky, taken too soon by a kingfisher all those months ago. RIP.
