Well, I have to say I’m frightened now. I don’t know what lies ahead in the coming days or weeks. I know what the worse case scenario for me looks like – overwork, sickness, death – but I don’t know what any of the better scenarios look like. It’s a giant step into the unknown. I know many people are hurting – money, job insecurity, fear for themselves and their families – but there’s nothing quite like walking into the lions den, which is what the hospital is going to be. So, it’s all about me today. Selfish, I know.
