Another glorious day up here on the Kapiti coast, where summer has finally arrived. No bike ride today, it’s just too hot, so had a swim instead. There’s something elemental about splashing around in the sea. Plus, my bum really needed a break.
Some passers by commented on my Emma Peel top to toe bathing costume (“that’s a very stylish wetsuit”), I’m not sure if they were being honest or sarcastic – I will assume the former.
