Messy

Been looking at the lovely sunny day out of the theatre window all morning, and decided to eat my lunch in any ray of sunshine I could find. Bought an overpriced wrap from Mojos and found a nice sofa outside ICU bathed in the sunlight pouring through the windows. It’s usually got whanau of ICU patients sleeping on it so I was lucky. I enjoyed the first half of my lunch until I realized I had beetroot juice dribbling down my chin onto my scrubs, and had to hastily remove myself to he theatre changing rooms and eat the rest leaning over a rubbish bin. Serves me right for trying to be sanctimoniously healthy – the pork roll looked much nicer than the vege wrap anyway. It’s lucky I wear glorified pyjamas all day – a complete top to toe change and I was as good as new. Not sure what the laundry staff will think, although I guess they’re used to all sorts of offensive fluids on the scrubs and know not to look too carefully.
