Ferrero Rocher must be the most overrated chocolates out there.
Every year my GP husband gets loads of gifts from grateful patients, including boxes and boxes of chocolates, which he invariably gives to the eternally voracious nurses at his practice, in spite of my protests. These ones, however, he had to bring home because they were given to him by the junior doctor who (whom?) he works with, and she would have seen their remains in the staff room and been offended. Well, they’re going to last a long time here. Yes, I tried one of the white chocolate ones in desperation, but only ended up covered in flakes of coconut. Disappointing but not surprising.
Anaesthetists never get gifts from patients, even the good ones (so I’m told), so I have to settle for being the woman behind the great man. Lame.
