Two spines, an inhaled insulin syringe cap (hint: if you take the cap off with your teeth, spit it out before you have a coughing fit), a mashed up ankle from a trampoline (a compound fracture, meaning bones flapping in the breeze), a torted testicle, and an eye surgeon ringing up every five minutes asking why we haven’t sent for his case yet. We’re certainly making up for Xmas Eve now…

The elective spine that started at 2:30 is finally coming to an end. I must say progress improved greatly once they found the tumour they were looking for. Meanwhile they’ve booked another torsion, and we’ve just had another trauma call to ED. At least the eye surgeon finally figured out which way the wind was blowing and has postponed his case till tomorrow…
