It takes all sorts

Went out for dinner with two of my cousins recently. It was lovely. We talked about politics briefly, which is something we hadn’t done before. It’s usually one of those subjects that people avoid, like religion. It turns out that we all vote for different parties, which was interesting, but luckily we were all mature enough for it not to bother us. I did have a bit of a dig at my cousin who votes Green for their non scientific anti GMO stance, but otherwise they seem a perfectly reasonable alternative. I mean, who doesn’t believe in the environment, am I right? I was perhaps more dismayed that my other cousin, who has always seemed perfectly pleasant, is actually a right wing fascist bully boy National supporter, but there you go – life is full of surprises. They were always a bit posh when we were kids.
