People have been asking how our cancerous doggie is doing. Katie is alive and well and quite happy so far. The enormous lump under her armpit is growing slowly but not really affecting her use of that leg. We discovered last night a bunch of new rubbery growths across her chest, but these aren’t painful. We’re guessing possibly some sort of lymphoma now rather than a sarcoma? I do feel a little guilty at not doing more for her, but really she’s perfectly happy at the moment. It’s not like she’s a 15 year old child that we’re not treating, she’s more like an 85 year old blind deaf incontinent and pleasantly demented nana we’re talking about here.
