Feathered dinosaurs

Did you know our very own Zealandia was named one of Time magazines top 100 places of 2019? So, Wellington hasn’t done particularly well in the Economist list of most livable city’s this year*, but at least we’re doing something right! (for the birds, anyway). We’re a couple of suburbs away down here in Kelburn, but I think the Botty gardens provide something of a green corridor, because we get loads of native birds around our place. The kaka are my favourite. I love their prehistoric squawks outside our windows. It’s like living in The Land Of The Lost. (Oh, come on – don’t tell me I’m showing my age again! I suppose I am – particularly as I’m thinking of the original ‘70s TV show, not the Will Ferrell remake of 2009).

Class TV – and there were dinosaurs too.

*thanks, but I don’t want to live in Australia
