My husband
has been very good, happy to use the expensive local WiFi to keep on top of his work email inbox. I checked my work emails the first day, but getting told off for not being polite enough about something I said was enough to put me off checking again for the rest of the week. What bliss! Back when I was a scheduler I would have been trying to keep everything on track in theatres while on my holidays. No more. It’s nice to feel valued and important, but better to be able to have a real break. Sadly I can’t think of anything funny to say about that. Holiday concerns should be about how to make the best of your day, figuring out what the weather is going to do, what to eat, and when to start drinking.
