Several people have asked me how my daughter is getting on with her nascent tattoo collection. You were absolutely correct that she was unable to stop at one, and has now embellished herself with her second piece of body art (piercings not included).
She promised us it would be discrete, so as not to limit job opportunities in the future. And so it is. Well, if it became visible in a job interview, it wouldn’t be for any career that would meet with parental approval anyway. Having said that, it’s not petite. If I could crop the photo to remove any incidental signs of bare flesh, and if I could get her consent, I might be able to show it to you. In the meantime, I will say it bears a strong resemblance to my family’s coat of arms.
