Harry Potter and The Midlife Crisis

OK, so everybody marries their high school sweethearts, but twenty years later, when the kids are all off at Hogwarts, and you’re stuck at your boring dead end job at the ministry of magic, then what? Is this it, the same old routine, day after day, until you retire and then die? There must be more to life than this. OK, that Weasley family is fine in small doses, great salt of the earth types, but they are kind of stuck in the 1950’s, aren’t they?

Ron is still a bit gormless, and Ginny? Come on – you can’t be star struck your whole life. Wouldn’t say boo to a goose. Whereas Hermione – she was always something special. We had a connection. I think its time to face the facts. I’m sorry, Ginny – but the magic’s gone. And Hermione, my love – there’s no use fighting it. It’s our time to shine. Hop on the back of my Harley and lets go!
