Bought myself a lovely bottle of perfume a few years ago, and I’ve been using it ever since. It’s a 50 ml bottle and it seems to be lasting forever and I’m sick of it. I can’t even smell it on me anymore. I bought a replacement bottle of something else a year ago and it’s sitting on my dressing table waiting to be opened, steadily getting stale in its bottle also I’m sure. Recently I’ve taken to spraying the old perfume more extensively about my person in order to use it up more quickly, but it still hasn’t run out. I remember reading an article years ago and the advice it gave for applying perfume was to spray a cloud in the air and then walk through it. I thought at the time it sounded like a huge rip off but maybe they were onto something?
