The hospital must have got a job lot of orthopaedic surgeons a couple of years ago. There are several of them (at least) and they are all tall, solidly built men with short dark hair and big hands, perfectly competent and quite pleasant. They are very nice to work with but I never call them by their names for fear of getting it wrong. I live in terror of those situations where I might have to introduce them to someone. Safest just to avoid orthopaedics altogether.
