I suddenly figured out today what really happened to me last Friday night – a delayed adverse reaction to the flu vaccination I got earlier in the week. Now it all makes sense – phew! It must have given me a dose of that stomach flu you hear about. Now I just have to figure out what I’m going to say to the nurse next year when she asks if I’ve had a reaction to the vaccine before. I suppose I’m just going to have to say it was very much like a really really bad hangover.
