Fritters tasting a bit of corn with a hint of soap. Not improved by being “allowed to rest” i.e. left on the bench for an hour. ‘Raisin’ count (potential hidden insects) = nil, but there are bizarrely some craisins in the coleslaw – too red coloured to be flies so likely safe. Presence of the Devil’s Vegetable – yes, hidden in the bean (and carrot) salad. Sneaky.
