Doing a case with two neurosurgical registrars, very relaxed, listening to my daughter’s playlist, and looking at the Herald website. I read out the news about Mick Jagger needing cardiac valve replacement surgery, and one of the registrars said “who’s he?” These guys work far too hard – they definitely need to get out more.
I said I was going to mention it in my blog, but before anyone could ask anything more about it, one of the registrars got accidentally sprayed with blood and had to go and get cleaned up, so I managed to avoid any awkward questions.
Can’t get comfortable writing this now – they keep asking me who’s singing all the songs. Focus, people!
