I thought a few days ago that my last swim of the year was behind me, but it turned out not to be so – I had it today. It’s lovely and warm up here in Waikanae, and I headed off to the beach after mowing the lawns. It made the whole experience extra special knowing that it was definitely my last swim of the summer. Although actually, what if it’s nice again tomorrow, and I go for another dip? Dammit.
