OK, so my lawn is about 4 metres long, and the average walking speed of a person is 1.4m/s, so if we round that down to 1m/s if you were pushing a heavy object, then that works out at about 4 seconds being the time it took me to figure out that some fool had put my lawnmower on the lowest setting.
