Dear Abby,
My daughter refuses to wear an apron for her stint of waitressing at a work function of mine this afternoon. I even gave her a choice of which one she wanted to wear but she wouldn’t have a bar of it.
I thought I was one of those “cool” mums. Where did I go wrong?
