The wind that passes

One of the less appealing aspects of sharing your bedroom with a beloved elderly family pet is the foul smelling miasma that one is wont to wake up to. The quality of these noxious fumes is very diet dependent. For example, I would not recommend feeding your dog left over laksa just before bedtime, as I did on Tuesday. Delicious though it may be, by the time it’s wound it’s way through your hounds GI tract it will have been rendered far less appetizing. The one good element of this canine tendency is that everyone else in the room gets a free pass for their own flatulence, which is not to be sniffed at (see what I did there?)
