Safety first

Am in my open plan office at work. There appears to have been a series of small earthquakes going on all afternoon. No one else seems to be bothered, perhaps assuming it’s something to do with people moving office furniture or nonspecific heavy machinery about, however I feel one cannot be too careful – especially in Wellington – so it’s probably prudent to head home early rather than end up at the bottom of a building pancake.
