RIP the wonderful Windsor Davies
He was the antihero of the hilarious “It ain’t half hot Mum” TV show that we used to love as kids. In those days we used to laugh at racist and homophobic jokes because we didn’t know any better. I don’t think you can judge comedy from those days according to modern sensibilities, but times change, and these days we do know better.
Really, if you can’t make jokes without making other people feel bad, you’re not much of a comedian, are you?
