This is a toughie, but I think I’d have to go with “Santa Baby”. Here’s a woman who knows what she wants, and isn’t afraid to ask for it. She’s got the moxie, as we used to say in New York in the 30’s. Eartha Kitt did the definitive version, but actually Miley Cyrus has just done an updated feminist version on the Jimmy Fallon show which isn’t too bad. If I was clever I could put the links in here to Spotify or YouTube – but actually, why do I always have to do all the work around here??
