Second to last day in theatre before Christmas. No Christmas carols today but miraculously I did arrive for work in time to grab a festive seasonal hat.
Everyone in theatre very envious. Am on acutes today so a wide variety of cases. Am currently doing general surgery.
Ewww there’s a bit of person on the ground! Luckily it’s nothing vital. Someone losing a bit of adipose tissue before the festive season.

You know you’re doing something right when the PACU nurses let you have a share of their festive bounty. Just had a delicious crumbly meringue. Those people really know how to party.
