Terrifically tedious day. Not a single wicket. A century each for the Sri Lankan batsmen so big ups to them. The crowd has moved past restlessness into stupor. It’s quite soothing.
Having to fend off large numbers of children who want the recyclable plastic cup that had my cider in it. No wonder because you get $1 per cup as a refund. Unfortunately for the young entrepreneurs, I’m going to hang on to mine as a keepsake of the test match we should have won but is going to dwindle into a draw because there’s torrential rain forecast for tomorrow.
