Quiz

Did you know the word quiz was invented in 1917 to bamboozle the Kaiser and turn the tide of the Great War in the Allies favour? This fact may be lacking in a certain degree of veracity (ie. It’s not “true”), but there are many more amazing facts that you aren’t going to get to see because unfortunately negotiations to publish our departments famous Christmas Quiz on my blog have fallen over. I can only imagine I have been gazumped by some other, better financed organ. Either that, or the author wasn’t convinced by my argument that the quiz deserved a niche (ie. smaller) audience, which only my blog was able to provide. Possibly if there was sufficient public outcry at this decision I may be able to get it reversed. So, let me hear your anguished cries! (You can vent in the comments)
