Some of the things the French do are just perverse. Cruet sets where the one with one hole is for pepper, and the multiple holes is for salt. Why? I see the comic potential but I oppose it on culinary grounds. Also, the hot tap that is labeled with a “C” (chaud). Now you are just taunting anglophones. Sad.
