Autumn on the Riviera is rather pleasant.
A busy photo, down at the beach. In the distance is a yacht with three masts, the biggest in the world, we were told. Apparently the mast in the middle is the same height as Big Ben.
Not sure why this looks so odd to me. It’s just so not the way we do beaches in NZ.
I didn’t realize that soldier was looking at me until I looked at the photo later. Spooky. This is not part of my normal beach experience either.
