Made to take off my watch as an infection risk yesterday by a bossy theatre charge nurse. She said something about dangling jewellery as well, while eyeing my earrings, but I wasn’t having any of that – I expose my naked lobes for no one. Later in the morning she announced she was moving to a new hospital soon. Everyone said how sad they were, and that they’d miss her – but I knew they didn’t mean it.
