I’d forgotten how much fun manual cars are (not that I’m driving it). The joys of stalling at the lights; that juddering when you’re in too low a gear (“you’re in third!”); bunny hops (thank goodness, none of those today). Young people today miss out on all that. Maybe that’s why none of them can be bothered to learn to drive? Too easy.
